Debunking feminism and sexuality

We created this workshop with a shared goal in mind: to provide a space to critically look at how feminism and sexuality shape the ways in which we interact with ourselves, our communities, and the world around us. We also hope this was a space to engage with ideas that are not addressed in our lives and talk about them openly, without judgment. Our mission was to empower all people to redefine their perceptions around feminism, sexuality, and objectification, and our vision was for people to understand the intersection between feminism sexuality, and objectification and the ways in which it affects how we interact in our communities.

I researched the topic of feminism, because it is something that I have been passionate about my whole life. I grew up in a feminism household, and those values have shaped who I am as a person. I wanted to share this passion with others through creating a workshop that opened up the conversation around feminism. This topic is not always easy to discuss, and I wanted to make sure I was creating a space where people felt safe talking about feminism, and what it means to them.
