Building a DroneFor my senior action project I decided to build a drone. I did this not only because it was something that I was always interested in doing, but also because it was the perfect time to do so. My thesis focused on AI in the military, unfortunately, neither the time frame or my skill set allowed for me to create my own AI and apply it to my drone. Another one of my original goals of this project was to equip the drone with a camera and program it to follow an object or a person around, though this idea was both too expensive and I did not have the time to complete it. So I decided that I would first build the drone and then look into making it more advanced at a later time.

Throughout my topic research it always amazed me at how advanced our military technology has become, and after finishing my drone, it has also shown me how complicated a lot of it can be. Because I plan on going to school and studying computer engineering I thought that this would be a good way to start and get to know the basics, however I definitely plan on doing more.
