Patterns in nature and in human creations

Claire’s senior project explored how recurring patterns and forms found in nature can be explained mathematically and why humans can be visually drawn to recreating these patterns. Her ted talk looked at studies conducted from mathematical and physiological perspectives, exploring both recent and past experiments. Her physical project was to create a kinetic sculpture which embodied some of the natural patterns found throughout the environment.
